a year older, and wiser?

last year i created a post dedicated to my quarter of a century anniversary. i wrote there some of the places that i wanna visit [Palawan, Bohol, Bicol, La Union, Pagudpod, Ilocos, Cebu, Davao] this year i've been to 2 of these places. i've recently been to Cebu and Davao [well i didn't stay long in Davao, it's just a stop-over. hehehe]

this year i'm planning to go to Iloilo, Guimaras, Bohol, and La Union. but first i need to find a good paying job.

a year older? yes. a year wiser? maybe.

my recent project.

it's 9:12pm and i'm the only one still awake in our house during this time. well my mom, sis, tita and lola went to the casino again and i was left here baby sitting my nephew. (he's sleeping now) i checked my balance. P24.61 so i decided to register to Globe's UNLITXT20. after i received the confirmation message i decided to SMS 21 of my friends with this:

"share a load naman. kahit P5 lang. salamat."

and in just 3 seconds i received messages from my friends (in order of SMS) P5 from my friend Jeff Capulong, P5 from Angelica Marie Gonzales, P10 from Francis Nico Gabay, P5 from Jasmin Magtibay, P10 from Kris Bondoc. out of 21 only 5 shared me a load.

i again checked my balance P39.61 (tumubo pa ako ng P15 from my previous balance of P24.61cents) i can now make a 1 minute international call, send a MMS, send 39 SMS to other networks and call using 232 without hearing the annoying voice prompt "your balance is below 20 pesos..."

thanks sa lahat. it will be treated as a post-birthday gift from you guys. at sa mga katulad ko rin na naka-UNLI at below P20 na ang load, try sending the above message. IT WORKS! (hehehe) at sa mga hindi ako pinasahan ng load, next time na lang. hahaha.

ooops, as of press time someone loaded me P30 bringing my balance to P69.61 konti na lang P100 na... si Tita Bong from Marawi City pala yung nag-send ng P30 na load.

i'll edit this post kapag may nag share-a-load pa ulit.

and now 9:54pm someone loaded me P100 bringing my balance to P169.61. [siguro yung kapatid ko ang nag-load nito. si Gio Yu pala ang nag-send nito and not my bro.]

9:55pm my former client and a friend Nikki Salubayba loaded me P20. balance is now P189.61 [from P4.61]

just when i thought that the share-a-load campaign is over, 11:43pm i again received P20 from Aman "Blue" Madrigal.

my current balance as of 11:44pm is P207.61.

out of the 21 persons i sent "the" pa-awa text, 9 replied and shared me some of their load in denominations of 5, 10, 20, 30 and 100 load. a thousand snaps for ya'll. :)

i really didn't expect that it will end up like this. ang expected ko lang ay maka-30 pesos lang ako. but i ended up having more than what i expected. o baka naman talagang marami ang nagmamahal saken? or baka naman marami rin ang nage-expect na maka tanggap ng "Inday Series" na message?

HALADAYA FESTIVAL and too many side trips.

yep. am still here in Cebu, sa may Dapdap Rd. sa So-ong, Mactan, Lapu-Lapu City. more than 1 week na ako dito. i arrived here last August 26 pa. i will be leaving Cebu sa Sept. 12. this was my first time to witness the annual Haladaya Festival sa Daanbantayan. 4th year na nila ito sine-celebrate. Haladaya means Halad (offering) and Daya (Datu Daya) who was believed to be the head Datu who fought against the Moro rebels who tried to invade Daanbantayan (or Kandaya). my cousin's entry won the Haladaya Competition.
