confessions from a casino addict

I woke up today with a pat/slap on my butt. (continuous pat!). the kind of pat you give to a dog when he gives you the morning paper. (or when he chews your P3,000 Armani Shirt. well, sorta.)

“Gising ka na, kumain ka muna tapos matulog ka na lang ulit pagkatapos mo kumain” my Lola said. This shows how much she loves me and how Señorito I am at
home.

I usually wake up at 1pm when I am at home but this time I woke up a little earlier than usual. Because of what my Lola said. She asked me if I was the one who washed all the dishes last night. Then I said, with a smile on my face, “YES!” (I arrived early last night, around 11pm. I ate. And because I don't wanna see dirty plates lying on the kitchen sink, I washed them all.)

“Naku, kaya pala natalo kami kagabi sa Casino. Taob na taob lahat ng plato, pati kami taob na taob din.”

Normal reaction, I laughed. And said sorry. Because I thought they’re just too lazy to wash the dishes. My  Lola said that  what I did was bad luck. You don't wash the dishes when you're going to the Casino to gamble because you'll lose. for 2 consecutive weeks,  I always wash the dishes before going to bed, and for 2 consecutive weeks they lost. hahaha.

As we were eating our lunch, my 5 year old bibo pamangkin approached me and said:

“Malapit na kami makarating sa ibang bansa”

“Talaga?” I said.

“Kelan?” my Tita said. with a big question mark on her face.

“Kapag natalo ko na itong mga kalaban ko.” He said while pointing on his PSP.

Putakte I thought their Visa application was already approved. What he was saying is that he'll be going to another world, on his PSP game!.

korny ng post ko na ito. sensya na.
