i have a new daily goal. (parang dati na akong may daily goal ah? hehehe)

i need to learn a new word everyday. a dialect, a foreign word. basta hindi tagalog or english. kahit one word lang. i started it yesterday.

first word: MASIRAM - Bicolano word for Masarap. natutunan ko ito kay ate na nagluluto ng "MALINIS" take note "MALINIS" na Tapsilog. akala ko kasi Kapampangan siya (because Kapampagans are known to be great cooks). I asked her what's Bicolano for masarap kaya ayun. pagkamura-mura pa ng tapsi ni manang. P35 lang. tapos ang extra rice ay P5. akalain mo sabi ko half-rice lang pero parang whole rice at ang lalo kong ikinatuwa ay P2.50 lang ang half rice. other tapsihan could have charged me P3 on my Visa Electron Credit Card, kaso sira daw ang card swiper niya kaya cash na lang binayad ko kay ate.

second word na natutunan ko kanina lang. SPäTBURGUNDER - rose wine in German. went to a client's house and ate sinilihan na Kangkong. ubod ng sarap. tapos merong honey beef with red wine something. at meron pang chicken curry. and after nun uminom nga kami ng wine. Spätburgunder nga kasi yung nakalagay sa wine. i learned that in order to really savor the sweetness of wine siyempre inom ka then ilagay mo daw sa ilalim ng dila mo then let it slowly flow in your tongue. sarap. then i learned that there are three types of wine, white, red and rose wine (in between red and white). then ayun. tapos na. sarap talaga ng Kangkong na merong napakaraming siling labuyo. sili addict pa naman ako. tapos yung honey beef with wine at meron pang sprinkled sesame seeds sarap din. match na match.

marami pang araw para sa mga bagong salita. ang masasabi ko lang "MASIRAM ang Spätburgunder"
